Halloween

Last Wednesday we celebrated Halloween and a few students and teachers dressed up to the occasion  and went trick-or-treating… Unfortunately there are no pictures of everybody.

Last but not least, thanks to our school artist, Michael Young, for these amazing posters!

We have also asked Michael and Tomas about their earliest memories of Halloween and how people celebrate this festival in the USA. Watch what they answered:

If you have any questions on either Halloween or coming Thanksgiving, please ask them and you will see them answer it for you on this blog. Stay tuned!

A visit from our friends at Alexandra Park School in London

We have been really busy these last days. A group of 28 students and three teachers from London is visiting our school until next Wednesday. They have gone to Madrid and got to know some of the highlights of the capital of our country: the Prado Museum, the Royal Palace or Gran Vía. They have learned about Spanish Art and History and also taken a workshop on solidarity with Pedro. At our school they have also taken a few workshops, for example, on physics with Juan Carlos, on cartooning with Irene and Michael, and also on flamenco! Thanks to all the students and teachers involved for your help and committment.

Needless to say, a school exchange could not be finished with our world-famous paellas 🙂 Thanks to Paco and Andrés once again. Here you can see a few pics of our joint lunch at the school gym.
